yes... well kinda... it doesnt stop in the middle of flowing, but will sometimes not grab the water to begin the pumping because of the air in the pump housing. then you have to turn it off and back on to get it to pump.

id do another leakdown test. if you had 'multiple leaks' last winter, its possible to have one more by now.

according to buykawasaki.com, the f/w part numbers are the same on the '03 and '06. if the f/w is the same, why wouldnt you be able to switch everything else out?

i would imagine that the flywheel has the same part number between the '03s and '06's, youd be able to switch the stator/electrics right out. again, i dont really know first hand, but its just an educated guess. i know its not what you really need though.

'skis' works here, on the x.. or with other standup riders.... .... but mention 'skis', or 'wave runners', in mixed company and ill guarantee that youll have to specify 'standup'. i duno... maybe 'jetski' just sounds smaller ... just an observation.... it doesnt really matter i s'pose.

i find that no matter what the brand, "jetski" sounds better than "wave runner". say "jetski", and people are more likely to tend to think 'standup' moreso than when you say "wave runner". .....may as well just call them skidoo's

definitely get a superjet. "easier to learn to ride"... "handles better"????? you may as well be describing a 1000 lbs couch like the one in the OP's avatar. i have ridden both, too. big whoop sxr is dandy for racing and bouys. the SJ is the standard for all that is fun.

loosen the fuel cap and blow through all fuel lines to ensure theyre clear. when you blow through the line that feeds the fuel pump, from the tank, you should be hearing bubbling in the tank. if its clear, but you hear no bubbling in a semi full tank, you could have a damaged pickup tube. the...

hose is hose. dont be duped into buying "kawasaki" hose. some things are left better oem. some oem things suck nutsack. this one doesnt matter other than the ridiculous price.

not necessarily. ive seen stock 13/17 concordes pull jus fine with no cavitation on lamey strokers. you probably have a leak in your pump shoe seal or intermediate housing. not too sure about the tbm cone, though.

they must be rule 500's..... thats what they do. they get airlocked. ive considered poking a hole in the tube(s) to relieve the airlock, but its not really that big a problem with 2 pumps and a scupper.
