    ya, looks like that little do-hicky broke off that holds that little flat tab when the linkage is engaged... not sure if you'll be able to fix it without some extra carb parts... I'm sure someone around here has some junked 38's you can scavenge some parts from.

    i understand what your saying... kinda makes me want to lengthen my breather tubes, but then if you do that, will it affect your riding when the boat is right side up? Like if you going, alot water comes in the compartment, and the engine chokes out b/c the water level has already hit the tubes?

    oh that is my goal eddie, thats for sure. but you never know. just as wave demon mentioned, I'll probably never get around to doing it, but I'd like to think I might. :shrug:

    I use silicone on the ride plate, intake grate, and pump bolts... locks them in there and prevents water seepage into that water loving foam.

    probably not it, but I have heard about the primer lines dumping in the carbs while in a hard turn, check and see if that is it.

    I'm a little confused... I know water can get into the engine, but until now I never thought about how... so water fills up the chamber, then the headpipe, which leads to the engine all from the stinger only? What about the water that gets injected from the head pipe? here is a very crude...
