that is an interesting hood seal situation they have going on there... I can't really see what is going on. Looks like a JSS style hood seal, then with a kawi 750 style seal on top of it. Care to elaborate torpedo?
so what is it? I'm reading conflicting information for this thread... is a 62T cylinder in OEM form a 701 or 760?

I have been working on a round nose pole conversion. I was at first going to use the stock square bracket, but then went back to using my stock round nose bracket.
I didn't feel like pulling the ski apart to reinforce from the inside, so I just did some exterior reinforcing. I used two layers...
This square hood is kinda warped in the front, and the the hull side where the hood makes contact is drooping. So there is a large gap where lots of water can come in. I never noticed it until I pulled everything off to do my round nose pole conversion. I'm gonna try a buddy's hood to see how...
So its been a while. The engine is in the hull. I had a little trouble with the throttle cable and the dual carbs, my solution was to use an adjustable throttle wheel.
