i think everyone should start buying the new one and put their RN hulls up for sale... but wait until later in the fall, that's when I'm gonna be looking for one... :biggrin:

I noticed that too... i had to compare it to a pic of mine to see the difference... combined with the molded tubbies it give the hull a more perabolic shape... unless it's an optical illusion because of the addition of the molded tubbies???

i do like how they mounted the flush kit... not sure if that's new or not, but it isn't like that on my '01

yeah, same here... i'll just keep repairing my '01 hull until i need a new one, then I'll buy an AM hull i think.

i think he's asking $1,500 OBO... it's in great shape too.

i precut the pieces, but about an inch wider and longer than i need... then trim after. when doing the rails, start from top and work toward the bottom... then you can trim with a razor.. trim at an angle not square, that will help to stop the water from catching on it. hope that helps...

yup... heat gun and rubber mallot. and put two coats of contact cement on the ski and three coats on the turf... let dry between coats. Use the heat gun to make the turf plyable (not too hot though) and use the mallot to pound out air bubble and to make sure you get a good fit.

yeah, it was strange to see how much thicker my '01 hull is compared to Newman's '05 - around the hood lip area was especially noticeable.

no you don't have to do it off a wake... most of my BR attempts come up short... and i only make it half way around... it really is not a nose stab as much as it turns out to be an inverted sub. still pretty damn cool though... entering the water nose first completely upside down.
