    Footholes

for the most part, you really only need them once you start getting inverted... Back Flips, Barrel Rolls etc. Although, there have been some riders that have been able to BR without them. I love having them even when not trying inverted tricks though... Alot of the time i will just use my...

What should I do with new hood and footholds? Wait?

i would say if you're new to doing this sort of work, wait to do the holds until winter, so you can take your time to do them correctly. If you've done these sort of jobs before, then hit now. Like BK said, footholds only takes a few hours to do, if you've done them before... My first set...

    Sxr ?

when you hop up to do the sub, use your feet to pick up the rear of the ski a bit as you push on the pole. If you have foot holds you can use them, if not, just wedge your feet against the sides of the tray. Picking up the rear while pushing on the pole will help to give you a steeper angle...

    Helmet

the prorider fit really small, i had to go with an XL - the Bell fits about right - i bought a large Bellistic. A little snug but the fit is good overall. incidentally, i wear a size 7 1/8 hat - just to give you a size comparison.

I lost 12 lbs last night... Wheeew...

ok guys... i swapped over to front exhaust and an XMW waterbox (although I am still using rear exhaust too). My ski has always listed to the right a bit, but it does even more so now. I am running a Koyo dry cell, which is still pretty heavy, which is what i attribute to the heavy right side...

    Sxr ?

yup, you should be able to do all those tricks on an SXR. I ride with several guys that have SXRs and they can do subs, stabs, fountains, etc. practice practice practice. do a search for "helmet" on here... ton's of places to get them cheap and fast. Try Walmart for a Bell Bellistic...
