this is a great thread. I'd love to see how many riders are having trouble with their one way valve or scupper. I have not had much trouble with my one way valve but I haven't let go of my ski long enough to have it sitting upside down long. I have another RN coming that I want to build...

i've been running one scupper and one 1100 gph bilge pump with a 1" hose. i bet 2 1100 gph bilges would be sick. although, even upside down will a bilgepump pump out air? or will the water pressure in the hose (with the ski upside down) keep the air from being pumped out?

i keep mine where my fire extinguisher is suposed to go... = )

LOL... i hear that. it's about 3.5 miles from the marina to the beach we hang at all summer... it makes for a long ride in any kind of rough conditions.

that's where I'm at 6' tall, -2" pole, -1 on steering, lowered bracket and 0 degree bars (which will also pull you forward over stock). Super comfortable... I thought about taking another 2"s out though. Although, for any kind of longer distance ride it can be tough on the lower back.

We've had an unusually hot summer here... mine sit out in the sun all day (80 - 90 degrees all summer) no problems with my ODI's either.
