stock compression for a 96 sxi ???
actually just about every twin I have measured on my gage with low hours and stock head has been around 150.

Pump/Drive shaft removal???
Can you get a prybar (or screwdriver) between the pump and the hull (the pump shoe)? I had to do that once to break a pump out.
