You need to paint with self etching primer, that will form a better bond with the bare aluminum, scuff the parts you can get to on the primer with a scotchbrite pad, then use whatever paint you want on top of that.

Don't worry Matt I will leave the grab handles on, you will probably need them, I have seen you ride ! The reason I ask is because I am building a set of Blaster footholds, one of the areas it bolts up at is the lower grab handle bolt. I need to know if I should make the foothold to go around...

Do most peeps take the grab handles off the B1'S or leave them on? :wavey:
