yeah, i've been wanting one, but i keep spending my money on motor parts and other jetskis. just picked up another RN hull for this winter's project. I have an extra hood, i am thinking about making my own lowered hood.
i removed the hand crank and had the angled uprights rewelded to go straight up... then used these bow stops with a pin. By doing so, i cleared up a lot of space on the front of my trailer and can now fit up to 4 skis on it plus my trailer box and a 4 fuel jug rack.

yeah, the wind yesterday was coming the wrong direction for any decent surf for us at the Eastern end. We went out anyway and we had a blast. 3-5 foot, tight intervals, wind had died down so the chop was minimal. This time of year i was just glad to get out.

when i did mine, i bought a conversion bracket from Pete Jacobs. It keeps the same footprint of the SN bracket but moved the pole mounts in for the narrower pole. you have to reposition your hood hooks though, as they are relocated outward like on a RN hood.
