    Hole in the square

Oh if it were only true. The more I'm thinking about it, I don't think its worth the effort to re enforce the ski. I'm just gonna repair the hole. So I have a little bit of silica (I think that is how you spell it) left. Will this work for the out side, or will it make it too hard to sand...

    Hole in the square

I think its just a tad too large for a bilge outlet, and I already have one on the other side of the ski.

    Hole in the square

So a couple weekends ago my square got a hole in it. To make a long story short, we had beached to try to work on my round nose. The tide was on the rise and the white water came in and made the square tumble in the sand right onto a 4x4 piece of wood sticking up out of the sand at an angle...

Rivets for footholds.... SS, aluminum, or CS ok?

when I did it the first time I used aluminum rivets b/c I figured they are gonna get cover with epoxy any ways, so I'm not worried about them corroding.

    defoaming:where to make cut

Not that I have ever done it, but it seems like you would want to come down the center of the tray more so that you get into the back portion of the ski more. :dunno:

    Basic Surf Boat Setup

Cause one day your not gonna be able to hold your ski out when the engine compartment is completly full and that bilge would be pumping water out, making it semi manageable to drag it back to shore. I have about two or three stories bad moments would have been worse if I didn't have an...

    Basic Surf Boat Setup

I hate lanyards, but think I should start running one again. I think the only time I won't is if the surf is huge. I switched to attwood bilges after using rule 360's and 500's. Do everyone a favor and use a front and back tow loop, and carry your own easily accessible tow strap. That way...

    !!myRNsj!! almost.....

yaya... ive done my share of turf jobs though. same concept. at the very back edge of the tray it would be as thin as your, but then taper up b/c of sanding.

    !!myRNsj!! almost.....

it'll stick. don't listen to him... haha... just use multiple layers of glue. if you want you can stick the padding all the way to the back edge of the tray, then take a razor blade, cut the padding at an angle, then sand it smooth so it taper to the edge of the tray.

Best way to check if I have a bad battery or bad charging stator

sucks bad. I didn't want to put any time, or money for that matter, into the square, I wanted to start tearing apart my round, but now I gotta do both.

Best way to check if I have a bad battery or bad charging stator

but from what Matt_E said above, if the lighting coil is the only one bad, shouldn't I still be able to take my battery terminal off and have the ski still run, unlike what SuperJet stated?

Best way to check if I have a bad battery or bad charging stator

Get it straight, it was a 4x4 that pierced the square :skull2: but ya, all that happened. drama. and I only had tools b/c we had the square, if I would only have had the round. I am now trying to devise a small tool holder for the round. Maybe somewhere on the hood liner.
