Wouldn't the plastic one's suck for people who beach their ski in the sand often? Seems like the sand would wear down a plastic wear ring compared to a stainless one.
ya, and now I'll be the one selling all of his damn parts... :crying:
And is it just me, or does it seem like we have less drama out here near the left coast?
That doesn't work when you have multiple items in one listing... I guess I'll start listing everything separate and clutter the for sale section.
And please explain how you can edit the title? I don't see that function.
Duh. I'm know I can do that... but people don't take time to read through the whole for sale thread to see if something has been sold. They just look at the first post, them PM me asking "do you still have xxxxxx?" That is one of the primary reason I don't like selling on PWCyesterday
I'm cool with not being able to edit every where except for the for sale section. Any way we can it back in just that sub forum? It sucks not being able to update you original listing b/c people ask a million times if you still have a part. Pretty pretty please?????
Dude, I'm telling you, don't worry about it. In my opinion it was no one's fault.
But I repaired it from the inside. Then I used some epoxy with fairing compound (West 410) on the out side. It sure did sand so much easier than epoxy with filler like I have sanded before. I'll take pictures...
Looks good Brett. Can't wait to see it and ride it if I see you before I get my tubbies installed. I've been working on the tubbies Carl gave me. I re enforced them and am now smoothing the surface back out. I'm gonna install them with the same screws you did. I like that idea.
Thanks, but no thanks. I have like 2-3 other square available to me, all for free, but mine is the cleanest out of the bunch. I already put the time into this hull to convert it to use a round nose pole, so I wanna stick with this one.
The engine is already pulled so I'm gonna do it semi right. I'm repair from the inside and smooth it out on the outside, and slap a big ol' sticker on it.
k, I'm gonna go down to my local marine store today after work and pick some kinda of fairing compound up. I think they sell west at my local place, but hopefully they have a cheaper alternative. I don't really need that much, but it will probably come in handy in the future.
