Seal up your ski very well if you leave it in the water that much.
Take some 5200 and seal up the exhaust flange. Take out ride plate bolts, intake grate bolts, and pump bolts and squirt some silicone from a caulking gun up in the holes, then use silicone on the bolts when re installing them...
And the pole is only adjustable 2 inches in either direction, so if you want it more than 2 inches shorter than the way it comes, you have to cut it, and then you can never go longer again (without modification that is)

I kept the stock syphon, put one bilge in the back under the drive shaft, and the other up front in between the gas tank and engine.
I actually see more water come out of my front bilge than the rear.
Monkey grips are suppose to be stronger and last longer than OEM. Wamiltons also has their engine mount which I have heard is the same as the Monkey grips but just sold with the Wamilton name (I could be wrong on this, just a rumor).

I live near ventura. if you have a trailer it is easy. if not, meet one of us with a trailer, we slide your ski onto our trailer after we're done launching. Then vice versa on the way in.

I purchased a 93 650 SN in 2/2007 for $790. Was bone stock with the exception of a pole spring, flame arrestor, and ride plate. This thing was clean too.
