Foam - defoam - refoam.... why?

yes i will do just that. and AFAIK that foam does not absorb water at all. As for structual strength goes, it will have to be cut to fit fairly tight under the tray area. The foam I am using is used to ship small trailers via flatbed semi truck. They stack the foam blocks between the...

    Another Winterizing Question....

really? wow, never heard of that. I'm assuming it set up because of the cold... once the warm weather breaks the oils would regain it's viscosity right?

Foam - defoam - refoam.... why?

I think Mark44 installed brass fittings into the lowest part of the chines in the transom of his ski. He can unscrew them to drain water out. However, the foam that is used in a superjet will hold water. If only a little water is leaked in, toward the bottom, then yeah i guess it could...

    Another Winterizing Question....

i have never put anti-freeze in any of my yamahas - never had any problems. I put stabil in the tank and then I just run it for 15-20 seconds, reving the motor to blow out any water. then while it's running i fog the carbs. after i fog the cylinders and drop a cap full of oil down each...

    good ski truck

wow, i'm surprised the toyota trucks get that bad of fuel economy. I get 13-15 mpg out of my '01 dodge ram 4X4 Off-road with 33x12.5x17 tires on it. And it's got a 5.8L V8 (360ci) motor with 410 possi traction rear end.

    Frosty's '98 Freeride Superjet Rebuild

i weighed it after i got all the foam out... no footholds, no exhaust tube, just the hull. Heavily reinforced, it came in a 98lbs. I bet there is about 5-8 lbs of biaxial and resin in the motor compartment though.
