i was watching it and planned to bid with under 30 sec left, but when it shop up i bailed without ever bidding.
I have a stock hood I cut the liner out of, and I plan to cut it into a lowered hood as soon as i get the nose piece from Goose to line the hood up with.
Bastard!!! wondered who got that one. nice job.
oh, and holy tray reinforcement batman!! yeah, the milky color has happened to me a few times too.
did you brush a thin coat of epoxy down before you laid the glass?
as long as you glass it back in good yes... i cut a ton out of mine = )
you'll have to have them out, and maybe more, in order to get the old wet foam out, and pour the new foam in.
i've had JP, Slippery, Mobby's and Mormaii
they were all decent. I found the newer slippery suits to not be a s good as the older ones i've had. they cheesed out on some things IMHO. Like no zippers at the lower leg for easey on/off.
My JP from several years ago is still in great shape...
nah, you did a nice job.
maybe hit the hood lip area with a dremmel (with a sanding drum) to smooth it all up. just to keep from getting stabbed by the stringers hanging off.
make sure to seal up everything you can...
I think this will do ya.. you won't use it all... but the 4lb kit will not be enough.
FOAM-0216 16 LB Kit 8 Cubic Feet $56.00
or two
FOAM-0204 4 LB Kit 2 Cubic Feet $18.95 (x2) - $37.90
it's an easy job.
remove the head bolts. remove old gasket and use a straight razor to clean any residual gasket material from gasket mating surfaces.
install new gasket, install head
-Always use a new Head Gasket
-Tighten the bolts in sequence and in two steps of torque
