isaac a couple fx-1 's coming from sacramento

we will be leaving sacramento around 11am on friday.

i have a 93 550 and couldnt find a fuel filter anywhere on the thing. did these come with an inline filter or just an internal screen?

im very interested. exactly what parts would i need to send you? is there a big gain in low end? do you have to have a highly modded motor to utilize the 144mm's potential or will it give you a big gain with the stock motor?

i was trying br's for the 1st time last weekend (they were garbage) and kept landing head first in the water and it was killing my ear.i thought i was deaf in my left ear for an hour. other than wearing a helmet is there any way to prevent this. does anyone wear ear plugs?

i wear the same vest. its not too puffy like most other cg approved vest and i havent had any problems with it yet.

i agree with LBE, get an fx-1. i have a fx-1 and a 550. i got the fx-1 because i was used to the small 550 but wanted more go. coming from a 550 everything else just seams too stable.

what about the santa cruz area? anywhere around there that you could get away with riding the surf.

kane, are you wearing shoes? that made all the difference in the world for me. i couldnt consitantly do subs on my fx1 until i started wearing shoes because i couldnt grip the slippery side mats barefoot.

i plan on goin down to pismo in october, but was just lookin for somewhere closer to ride before then.

where is the best place to ride the surf on the Northern California coast? i've been out to moss landing and mavericks a handful of times but its been like 5 years , not sure if you can still get away with riding out there.

i'll be there with a few friends in tow. we'll be bringing a few skiis.
