i leave my hood off and pole up. i cover my engine compartment with a towel, otherwise it gets a ton of dust in there, even in my garage that i rarely have open. before i used to keep a towel over it, i went riding all day came home and took the engine cover off and a there was a live tree frog...

footholds are easy..... its the turfing that sucks.

i used 1/4-20 ss button heads on mine so that should work fine. you can get 5200 at home depot and maybe even walmart. iwould reccomend the quick dry if you wanna ride any time in the near future.

i just used some epoxy resin on mine, but i also used stainless bolts instead of rivets , so i dont think its goin anywhere. ime and a friend both used that bilge tubing they sell at blowsion and both of us have multiple holes in the hose after one weekend of riding. not sure if we got a bad...

for my hood straps i just drilled the rivets that hold the bottom of the stock pink glove compartment and bolted the straps there. just an idea if you dont wanna add any more holes. also, it works best if you cross your straps like lbe's. ive had it where i got in the water and the wet straps...

yeah i hope it aint windy, but were gon regardless. leaving as soon as i get off work in the morning (i work nights).

we will be getting out there friday hopefully early enough to do a little riding and then camping there that night. so when you get out there on saturday drive down the beach to where you can camp and find us. -isaac
