i got footholds in the back and a strap up front. my front foot is almost always in the strap and my back foot is only in the foothold maybe 15% of the time. i could get away with just having one front foot strap.
but like wydopen said, just cut out a small recess along the length of the tray...
thats a good deal if its in good shape. all the ones ive seen for that price or less that have mods are kinda beat. talk the guy down to $1600 and you got yourself a deal.
you dont need to remove the pole from the ski to do this. i used a dremel with a disc on it and cut right through it. just use a bungee cord or something and attach the pole to your rafters in an upright position so when you cut all the way around the pole it will be held up. you dont really got...
i'll be out at pismo tomorrow (6-2-07)around 11am.
the kite boarders dont seem to mind us. were usually there before them because the wind doesnt pick up till later in the day. they come and get real close to you sometimes. havent had any problems with them yet.
stop riding at folsom , that place sucks. come out to the river instead. we'll be there all day monday. oh, and make sure your ski is legit so you dont have to worry about the po-po f'in with it when you make them mad. shoot, i had a ranger make me go buy a whistle one day before i go back into...
for surf riding get yourself hood straps, limiting rope and a bilge pump. that will be fine for now. worry about reinforcing and adding power later.
get some custom graphics made. oem graphics are boring.

thanks. they are watercraft factory footholds. my foam was still good, so i didnt wanna remove any more foam from the ski than necessary. thats why i drilled a hole in the foothold. it was pretty much the only place where there was a void to fill.
