I just got vegas video 6 and it is unbelievable. You could use this program for a year and still not figure out its full capabilities. He was looking for cheap and easy thats why I suggested just using movie maker.

I would just use windows movie maker, it comes free with windows xp. Very simple to use and has lots of features for a free easy program.
