    xmetal pole on a square

already done!!!!!! Pats RN bracket works awesome, the pole just cant extend up as far as it should. Had to cut a hole in the bracket too so the bracket would sit flush due to the dimple on the mounting area. Some 5200 to fill in old holes, drill some new ones, move some hood hooks and its on...

    square v. round

If you break it down and get the stuff independantly, your lookin at like 2-300 for a hull, 600 for a pipe, 350 for a head, 240 for a prop, 140 for an intake, then around another 1000 bucks for the motor depending on what you want. Oh and if the hull doesnt have the pump thats another big chunk...

    square v. round

if you have around 1700 bucks you can get a good square with probabaly a pipe, prop, head, intake. If thats too much money id say look for a kawi 650sx to learn on.

What do you use for the eyelet loop?

I just have a loop big enough to get my foot into on the front of the ski so I can hook my foot and grab the persons foot thats towing. Kinda ghetto but works well.

    Superjet Start Switch

my 650sx switch went bad last yeaar and I couldnt find a replacement. Needless to say I wanted to ride, so I cut the wires and stipped them. To start it I just jumped the wires. Gave a little shock sometimes being in water and all but at least I could ride lol.

I dont have one, I've just seen people install them, good reputable people from the boards, and the bolt holes should be at least within 1 inch of where they go.

    Superjet Start Switch

If you have aftermarket bars, cut off that little tab on the inside of the area that clamps to the bars. It wont let the switch mount flush.

    square v. round

but steves watercraft factory top deck will mount perfectly on a square. The steering is definately the main difference though. I have a -3 xmetal pole, and I'm using the round nose bracket on it. The only problem with it is, the square nose bracket area is angled whereas the round nose...

    square v. round

I have a square with an x-metal pole on it and I love it. I dont notice much difference at all when riding the 2. The square just needs much more re-enforcement done to it. The bottom is identical on the 2.

    Starter interchangeability

Yeah do not get arco whatever you do. My first arco went to crap after about 2 months of use. I sent it back and got a replacement, now after only about 4 rides, its already hesitating.
