I've got a ported big bore ski also but run a Solas mag pump with the stock prop. (After trying about ten different props, I think I'm running a stocker.) Try Scorny's 9/17 with a TBM pump cone and an 80mm nozzle.

The difference between the two numbers is the "spread" of the prop. Essientially, the smaller the number, the less water flows through the prop but the prop spins easier. The first number is the leading edge or the bottom end punch and the last number is the trailing edge or the top speed...

I love the SX-R (I own 2) but they aren't built for rolling. You'll need some huge boat wakes. Please post a video some flatwater SX-R rolling. I would be interested how they got a setup wake that big.

Cutting the rails flat will make it handle like garbage. Ask the unfortunate guy on PWCT that make that mistake.

Try leaving it alone and trying the stocker again which, if memory serves, is 13/18.

Cut the cable and rethread it. I had to do that when I went to the UMI pole. It's easier than you think and it's nice to have a tap and die set. Flip the turnplate and put the ball on the other side. The superjet steering ball is larger than the kawi - just so you know.

Tragically, you'll never roll your SX-R on flatwater - blackflips either. Such is life. The TBM flywheel is a good deal on an excellent upgrade. Since it's total loss though, you'll always have to be ready to charge the ski after a day of riding. One of the absolute best bangs for the buck.
