originally it was 8'. I cut it down 6" to fit with no overhang off the tail gate so my Ready Ramp, will fit properly. You can make it as long or short as you like. longer ramps lessen the transition and make it easier on the bottom of the ski. a sharp drop means the ski is harder to get...

Well, you asked for it, so here it is. I loaded up from MI in 40 degree weather with a truck load of crap to head to Orlando FL the end of Apr. I drove non stop, and had a very uneventful trip. once here I loaded and unloaded the ski with no real issues at least 6 more times before catastrophe...

My SXI did the same thing when I brought it down from MI. I ran fine there, ran like poop here, I had to really jack with my carb settings to get it running right. I've determined it's the ethanol in the fuel here thats causing it. From what I was told the othere day, not all fuel stations...

yep.. I hate it more and more. So wedo.. what do you think? Up one size on jets going from 500ft and 0% ethanol to 0ft and 10% corn juice? I'm currently running my screws .75~ 1.5 turns out from stock just to get it to run right.

I finally got my SXi runing right. but the carb settings are nowhere near the stock settings. So while trying to figure out what caused the sudden change in the way it ran from MI the here, I realized the fuel in FL has a MUCH higher Ethanol content than it does in MI... at least where i lived...
