    Stolen Ski....Recovered!!

I got my ski back on Sunday! I followed up on the tip I received which turned out to be correct. I made screen shots of the two douche bags along with pics of their truck from the store security videos, posted them on my wife's FB account Saturday afternoon. The deputy sheriff posted them to...

    Stolen Ski....Recovered!!

I received a tip that that a ski matching the description of mine was sighted at a convenience store close to the marina from where it was taken the morning after it was taken. The tip was specific about the time and vehicle description. I relayed this info the police but they don't seem to be...

    Stolen Ski....Recovered!!

That is true. I had a pair of skis stolen back in 98. The thief cut two locks to get them. It is probably best to keep them outta site when possible.

Other Share your embarrassing jet ski moments...

After spending the night in my boat on an island at Lake Keowee, I decided to tow my ski back to the marina instead of riding it. During the tow I kinda forgot about it and when I looked back it was gone. I thought the rope broke. Turns out the ski had submerged and I was pulling it like a...

    SXR Blown motor!!!

What he said... Tracking hours is probably ideal but not really practical(for me anyway) I think it is best to just get a new crank every 2 to 3 years. 6 years? you were living on borrowed time.

Other why dont the brothas ski?

Billy Womack won more than one race. He was dominant for a few years in the offshore/endurance scene. He was a rep for Polaris and also an airline pilot. Very nice guy. He helped me out big time back 02 at the LB2Cat race. I had a cracked pipe the day before the race, he took me back to his...

Super Jet What is the better start/stop switch? kawi or yami.

With a kawi switch if you come off the ski at the wrong angle it will break the whole front of the switch off. The lanyard won't let loose so it pulls the whole face of the switch off. This happened to me several times. Now I have a Yami switch. No problems yet.

    Freestyle Trouble jumping wakes...

Right, you don't want to LAND flat, just FLY flat and then let the tail hit first. I am always going for more distance rather than height. (actually, height AND distance). I love going wake to wake, very smooth landings, kinda like hitting a double on a dirt bike.

    Freestyle Trouble jumping wakes...

You don't need any mods to your ski, just modify your technique. As you approach the wake, let off the throttle a little so the ski will settle to the bottom of the wake. Pin it as you ride up the face and just before you leave the wake, jump a little. This will take the weight off the back of...
