I rejetted for 650. had to go with the 115 gram spring though to stop the carb from dribbling at idle. everyone says the Yamaha 650 was the worst engine ever made. I'll tell you what, with my 701 bpipe that little 650 screams. Its a little arm jerker. way more power then with my PSI pipe. cant...
Oooh it fits no problem. they even made a 650 specific Bpipe. 120 seemed way too high unless its my popoff.off idle it hits hard and I couldn't be happier. starting and idle is the problem
anyone ever done it? I put on in my square nose but cant get the jetting correct. Factory pipe says 115 pilot and stock needle & seat. Problem is it starts hard and loads up at idle. I went up to a 120 pilot and it would hardly run. 115 is back in and low adjuster is open 3/4 turn. still starts...
anyone have the templates for the sides of a squarenose? I'm horrible at turfing and don't want to hack it up at this point. anyone in the northern conn or western mass area that has mad turf skills and wants to help I'd gladly pay for there time(and all the beer u can drink)
take it out and take a propane torch and heat up 2 coils red hot then let it cool. it will soften it up and take some of the spring out. if its still too much heat up the third coil. works like a charm!
fx1 will be harder to learn on but will make you a better rider in the end. also they are very few of them out there and that makes them rare(and sometimes valuable) superjets are all over and will be a lot easier to learn on. Imo get the fx1 and ride the hell outta it. if you don't like it you...
grab that fx1. once you master that thing most other skis will be a breeze to toss around! and that little pump with a skat swirl in it will make it a whole different animal!
