Freestyle 300 sx build suggestions please

Yeah the tank is whats in the way of the pipe. If I could move the motor back an inch it would clear alot nicer. Guess I might have to get a cart tank. Seen a few builds on here but your is about the only one that has been finished. I plan to put a 750 pump in it but for now the 550sx pump...

Freestyle 300 sx build suggestions please

Just picked up a 300sx that I am putting an 800 ported motor in. Looking for suggestions. I stripped everything off the ski and it weighed 89 pounds. Just the hull, no hood, no pole, no pump. Just the bare hull. Anyhow today I put a 550 sx pump in it with a 750 sxi driveshaft and thru hull...

    Stumped about 1100 backfiring

How about the firing order? Maybe the leads to the coils got switched in the ebox? I bought a raider a while ago that wasnt getting spark on one cylinder and found one of the wires going to the coil in the ebox got dissconnected. Just a thought, I know the triples arent like the duals when it...

    second broken midshaft-driveshaft

This is the second time I have broken a midshaft-driveshaft in my blaster. Does anyone make a better or stronger set up? Are any of the other yamaha ski's that use the same set up? What do you guys with the really fast blasters do to keep this from happening? Thanks for any help--Jason--

    Total loss problem

What would you suggest for a static timing? How do you do this being the flywheel is on the motor and the pickup is bolted to the cover? Thanks--Jason--

    Total loss problem

I have a 93 750 sx with a 750 stroker motor, factory wet pipe, dual 44 red tops, and a 12 vane mag pump. The ski rips, but I had a lightweight charging flywheel in it until it spit out a bendix that chewed up the stator and the flywheel. So I decided to try out a jetinetics Heat total loss...

    What pipe for my blaster?

You guys think? The ski flies around 52(not gps yet). The red pipe seems to have a dead spot on the bottom. I had a restrictor in the stinger. It seems the more water in the stinger the better it runs. The single helped but it still has a dead spot on the bottom. I thought about using a...

    What pipe for my blaster?

I have a 95 wb1 it has some home porting, riva red pipe, riva lw charging flywheel, dual 38 mikuni's, and a ww freestyle cone. I need more bottom end. The ski flys on the top. I would guess around 52-54. I am thinking about a factory pipe, the one that looks similar to a superjet pipe with...

SX/SXi/SXi Pro OEM B and C marked pistons on SXI Pro questions

Its just how the factory matches pistons to cylinders. A being ones that meet one tolerance. B another and so on. All will still be 80 mm or whatever just the wall clearence will be within specs when new. A used piston in a used cylinder should be fine, If neither are damaged. If the...

    750 thermostat

Are you talking about the overheat sensor? Goes at the bottom corner of the ebox on the sx-sxi models. I dont use mine. I just pay attention to the pisser to make sure it is pissing and not steaming.--Jason--

    Daytona or orlando

Florida is great... Dont move to California unless you like some crazy taxes. The money isn't great in Forida but the cost of living is pretty cheap in some areas. I personally would live anywhere else.

    SX/SXi/SXi Pro To much Bottom?

My 96 sxi was fast out of the box. 175 psi is good compression I wouldnt waste my money on an aftermarket head with your compression. 185-190 is max on 93 you are close enough with 175. #0 on here lightens flywheels cheap. Second best bang for the buck. The prop that comes in the sxi is a...
