The only thing I’d do different now is make the edges angled. My buddy’s crash has angled edges where the wide tray meets the thick part. The angle would make it easier to glass, turf, and sand.
I put an extra water line in my ski to also keep the siphon. I like 2 methods of bilge. The aluminum or stainless like is cheap. I’d put the line in while the tray is out. I put it right next to the port side line.

It was my first time ever cutting o-ring grooves and they came out ok. You can see some little divots in some areas near the o-rings, that’s from scribing the layout with the waterjet.
