thanks a lot for the input. I just wanted to make sure because I bought paint and primer and the paint instructions say to just prep and paint and sand between coats. I will definately primer and paint. What grit of sandpaper do you suggest. I was planning on 320

I want it as long as it fits and holds water out.

Hey guys I am in the process of repainting my sn superjet and was wondering if I needed to put a coat or two of primer before paint? Also I was wondering how much I needed to sand it down. I have all the gloss sanded off and some spots showing grey is this a problem when it comes to painting?

yeah thats what I thought. Thanks a lot. Do you know what material the hood is made of and how to repair it? I have a chip off of the corner that keeps the hood from sealing? It does not look like fiberglass but I am pretty new so I wanted to make sure. Thanks for the help

Does anyone know if a 1997 yamaha superjet hood will fit a 1995 superjet? I am having all kinds of problems trying to find a hood for a descent price. I am hoping to find someone that is parting one out. thanks for any help
