Lake Erie Saturday: 10-14 Footers!!!!

OMFG... I am crying in my beer right now. I want to ride these waves SO bad I can't stand it. :1244:

Saturday
Northeast winds 10 to 20 knots increasing to 15 to 25 knots late in the morning...then increasing to 30 knots early in the afternoon increasing to gales to 35 knots late in the afternoon. Waves 4 to 6 feet building to 8 to 11 feet. :aargh4:

Saturday Night
Northeast gales to 35 knots becoming north and diminishing to 30 knots late in the evening...then becoming northwest and diminishing to 15 to 20 knots overnight. Rain showers likely through midnight...then a chance of rain showers overnight. Waves 10 to 14 feet :shocked: subsiding to 5 to 7 feet.

I am soooooooooo bummed....:rant::grumble:

Don't go out in that alone on Saturday. If you break down between the beach and the ramps...There is no one who can save you, unless they are on another stand up.

Theres no way you could swim out of it, much less get your ski out of it.

I'll be on the beach with the video camera.

Bad forecast... winds and waves aren't even half of what was predicted...

They are 8.5 feet right now. Still huge, but not the 10-14 that was predicted...

well the temp never made it over 61 in florios back yard forcasting station. and a steady rain from 10 am till 3pm

just can't justify the conditions to make it a worth while trip unless there is something i have never seen before going on :frown: and according to vogie just not a worth while cause today

maybe tomorrow will be something a bit better

Tomorrow and Monday are West Winds. About 1-2 foot chop. Garbage the rest of the weekend.
