Over the next week or two I am going to put my ski back together with the following changes from last season:

* Lightened 61x flywheel from #ZERO
* 61x cylinder, mild porting from Jetworks (Was running a cleaned up but unported 62T cylinder)
* Pro-X pistons
* Carb retuned by Jetworks / popoff corrected (Art said it was way too low)
* Used Skat-Trak Freeride Swirl impeller, true 13/18 pitch and balanced, done by Jetworks last year

Is it a given to go ahead and bore the nozzle, or should I wait and see how it runs with all the new stuff first?

do you run it with a tbm pump cone? i'd say boring it is another cheap mod that'll give you a noticeable difference

If possible, try a couple different sizes and see how it works out.
I have two nozzles for my setup, one is at 82.6mm and the other at 84mm.
84mm gives me more bottom end, but the 82.6mm has a bit more mid-range punch and more top speed.

The trouble with doing everything together is that you don't know what is working for you! I did a lightened flywheel and bored nozzle at the same time and found the difference very noticeable. I went to 84mm since I was looking for bottom end. I say go for it - it's a proven mod that's cheap and reliable.

You're going to love jumping on that new setup - lots of great mods there for extra punch.

I have an 86.5 tapered at 2.2* by #0 with a stock cone it hits hard down low. But i lost a little top that i dont need anyways. Still got plenty of juice to run from those 8+foot waves
