ghostriding skis,

I forgot!
so whose had the excitement of whatching a ski ghost ride around the local riding area. We were out rocking a 550 yesterday and the ski decided to do a HUGE Ghostride loop, about a 2-3min loop, everytime we thought we where lined up it would cruise by 15 feet out of range at 1/4 throttle. Steve managed to hit it 3 times out of the 10+ times it was looping. i got a lift by some women on a little motor boat. They asked me what the plan was? i laughed and sayed lets just follow it till it hits shore and drop me off, eventually it hit shore and sat there screaming until our "on shore crew member" was able to kill it. stupid 550 fires back up and i rode it back the the launch. i was so tired from laughing and swimming. i though it was going over the dam and be gone for good, we weren't that lucky, Jim thanks for letting us ride your ski.

hahaha!

the first day on my 550 I had the idle set too high. I fell off and it didnt even circle... it just took off across the lake till it hit shore about a quarter mile away. pretty funny.

yeah, hilarious!

Id be afraid it would broadside a $300K boat.

or cruise through a swimming area and hit some kids in the head.

that would be pretty funny too.

yeah that would suck but luckily no one was around, not too many people swim in our dirty river. we had a fisherman come over and ask us how long it would do that for, Steve said till it runs out of gas, "how much gas is in it?" Full tank, lol 550 1/4 throttle with a full tank, we might be here a while. lol, the 550 handle bars aren't 0 degree and they hit the sides of the tray so it can't turn very tight. usually it stalls out but i put a nice SBN carb on it now it idles perfect hahaha....stupid 550 it hit a huge log on shore sat there screaming until drew shut er down at which all i could hear was Steve laughing cause he thought the 550 finally blew up.

I ghost rided a ski a couple of times.
For a long time my riding buddy wouldnt leave me alone while doing tricks...He was into racing buoys and had a VERY fast SS...
I'd fall off and he would come flying at me and spray me, ride continuous circles around me, try and wash my ski away from me. All while LHFAO.. He would even act like he wasnt looking, but he was looking out of the corner of his eye waitng for me to crash, then rush over to shaft me in the water with his antics.. Well i got fed up one day after many warnings to him and went straight at him in T-bone position @WFO. At the last second I jumped off the ski and it ghost rided directly across his tray and clipped the back of his legs... Scraped up his ski some too. All cosmetic scratches...
Needless to say he didnt F with me again...hehe

loosen up abit guys, a ghost riding ski isn't going to ruin the industry, or direct the "sport" into the gutter, if you can't laugh at the stupid things people do then you won't know they were stupid, lol, i never intended to ghost ride the ski, i am sooo irresponsible for having a small airleak develop and cause it to idle way high, which is what i found to be the problem. p.s. i don't give a whooping funt about trees hugger activists, they can't take away my right to brap.

Wasn't referring to your ghosting issue Roc - but riding at someone else and jumping off to deliberately cause damage to someone’s leg & ski?!!

Thanks! That was a long time ago, and yes stupid, I agree, but I had had enough!

Notice in that post I said I ghost rided a couple times.
Would you like to hear the other story?

EDIT: BTW - He didnt get hurt at all, barely rubbed his legs and I fixed his ski for him. He couldnt believe i did that either...hahahaa I timed it perfectly ... hee hee
