Kinda strange

So I've had my wet pipe on since last season, today I went out riding and the pipe got so hot it melted my water lines. I'm gonna re tune the pipe tomorrow, but I was just kinda wondering if anyone has heard of it before? The pipe has never ran that hot before

Sounds like you plugged a cooling line or an injection nozzle. Time for a strainer?

I had that happen once in my blaster with a FPP right after sucking some stuff through the pump. Water line strainers veedy impoortaant. Check your exhaust hoses also. If they get too hot, they get brittle and crack open.

Blow through every water line and fitting with an air compressor.

Blow through every water line and fitting with an air compressor.

Also remove your water screw adjusters and poke a small wire through into the headpipe. This will remove anything blocking the small pin hole injectors.

I melted my gas tank the same way.

Yeah my tank melted alittle, but it's not bad I think it'll be fine
