Superjet Waterbox in an SXR??

What do you think? Anyone know the weight of a SJ waterbox...I want to reduce the weight on the front of my ski and the SXR box is super heavy...The X Metals may be too loud

You are gonna want that weight up front.

No you will just want a little up front to help throw it down IMO. Your new hull is going to be nose high but light enough that is doesn't matter because you just manhandle it. But a extra lb or 2 up front will be nice IMO.

DJ I looked into this a few years back and no one had any real input on it so I never tried it.

I've seen Wammer use a 96+ sj water box in his light weight sxr hulls

Yep....there is one on Maccs freeride ski...it's what gave me the idea.
