Hey guys.

I recently filled in the crossover on the stock intake of my SJ. I am pretty sure i have the wamilton jetting kit right now and cant really find the right tunning point. Any suggestions. Before i had the crossover filled in, i ran the low speed screws at 1 turn out and it felt great, but now it just gets loaded up and doesnt have the same snap. I tried to go up from 1 turn out and no help and i tried to go less than 1 turn out and didnt really help much either but didnt want to lean it out.

Please help!!! I suck at tunning carbs. thank you

What engine setup recipe are you following? Why did you fill it in?
When you do fill in a crossover, the signal is a lot stronger to the carb and you DO need to lean the jetting down if you want it to work...just do what the engine is telling you to do.

I filled it cause i read that it gives better response. Plus i see that all after market intakes don't have a crossover so i figured it would work better. I was scared to lean out too much not to hurt the engine. I figured if i nearly have to close the low speeds i should probably re-jet right?
