Anybody work on skis in Maine/NH?

Picking up my first ski shortly (r/n SJ) and was wondering if anybody in Maine/NH was good at installing footholds? I can come to them or they can come to me (I'd pay expense of coming to me). I'm more than willing to learn how even if somebody wants to just guide me, I've never worked with fiberglass or turf and don't want my ski to look like crap or leak. If I have to give it a shot I will (there is a TON of awesome info. on this site), but if there is somebody around let me know!

Just put them in yourself...Just do some research on here, its not that hard! Get on youtube and watch some fiberglassing videos and just take your time!

ya i did them myself last year ... its looks worse than it is and it turned out to be easier than i thought....

well worth the effort.

sharkbait.. are you on the Northshore in Mass (i am).

Heres my thread on my attempt of the footholds.. it worked well and has held up no problems..

if either of you in the area, i can help somehow....

the biggest tip i can give, is dont rush it.. be patience and go slowly.

there are plenty of footholds installation threads.. read em over enough and you will get more comfortable.

Alright you two bitches, this is something you can do. Just do your research and read up on how to do it in the buildup section here.

There's no time like the present to learn. I am confident you both can do it.
