kawi 800 freeride/freestyle motor

this is the goal i am trying to achieve:
what is the most i could get out of an 800 sxr motor without comprimising reliability. i would like it to be self charging, no tl and i need to run on pump gas, but i need it to shread. this will not be a racing boat, flat water free style and free ride only. i want lots of bottom end grunt.:sgrin:

anyone know how i can contact watcon, he is not accepting pm's

I've used Tim Z before. Great guy who knows his stuff.
I've used JSU. Great people, very knowledgeable, tons of stuff in stock.
I've met Bill Haig. Awesome racer, lots of knowledge. Not sure if he does customer work.
I heard great things about Jetworks & watcon just never used them yet.

If I was you, I'd build a nice simple limited with a low pitch prop and you should have all the power you need.

fpp wetpipe made a BIG difference on mine, but flatwater freestyle?i think not an sxr more jet, think if you got the $$$ a trinity hull or even a SE SPEEDMAGIC 970 cc cylinder!i think sxr is a great surf ski with a few mod's but it's so heavy!less weight=more grunt!!

My 2 cents, get a lighter hull to increase your power/weight ratio.

Once you get up to the higher dollar amounts, a lighter hull provides more power/weight ratio than a big motor does, and is more reliable.

belive me when i tell you guys weight is not an issue. the hull it will be going in is within the weight range of the after market hulls out there.my problem is not weight but how to get power out of a kawi motor, that is what i haveto work with. i have fpp, jsu head(29cc), 6degree retarded, lightend fly wheel, riva power bombs. what is the next step?

If it is as light as you say it is then you are done I guess.

Prop? Carbon hood? Huge big bore kit?
