crank oil for asembly

can't seem to find any info on what type of oil to use for asembly, i'm resealing the cases. basically rebuilding a motor.

What do you need the oil for ?
Is it to lube up the crank ??

I know one engine builder that uses yamaha fogging spray for the entire process.

yup, i'm rebuilding a 62t engine and putting new seals and resealing the cases. i know you have to put some kind of oil on the crank when you asemble it.
