Do it twice?That's DooDoo
just push that sucker down in there... dont worry too much about the rubber thing at first... just keep working the coupler cover in and down to where it would be right over the bolt holes... and when its pretty much in place then reach back and feel for the rubber nub and slide it into the grove. It usually goes in pretty easy.... hope you have better luck next time around.

I lost a bushing to mine once, where the bolt screws in.

and I used 2 zip ties to hold the coupler in place thru the intended bolt holes.

it worked well for like 2 seasons, and I will likely put it back the same way

Speak up ,don't kiss azz
you always have some kind of a ghetto fix don't you .:hitwithrock:how about buying a new bolt for $1 .I know it's radical thinking but that's how I roll .I did the same thing it worked well

I would have used a smaller bolt and washer and locknut on that side if the zip ties hadnt worked so well.

but the main point is having a coupler cover.

it is an important part of the ski.

unless of course you have a freestyle sponge in there.

I had no issues last night installing my coupler cover...i also have a hard time seeing how it would be difficult to install. Just slid it back in there and put the two bolts in.

I use zip ties with no rubber thingy. I HATE that thing and I have wrestled with it for like 10 minutes before.

It never got easier for me no matter how many times I tried it.

he said he 'cant get it on'.

he's going to need viagra before any lubricant enters into the picture.
