Turbo's SN rebuild

I got sick of the pole bashing the hood so i took a few minutes today to do some reinforcing of the bracket underside. I stalled after 2 or three layers to grind the ribs and try to remove the rubber thingy in pic 3. :261:

I know the foam job suck but it will work and i have less than 5 bucks invested so far.

Had to move to the garage since it was getting dark after sanding

What is that thing on the side wall. I will grind ribs manana.

Apparently the person who had teh ski before me thought silicon :twak:would seal up drill holes in the rear:stups:. It drained out a few ounces so i bet there's more.:banghead::banghead: I will fix it once it drains with appropriate 5200.

Plans are to build a custom handlepole bracket to fit a rn pole and stock sn mounting location. :thinkerg:

I don't plan on doing anything spectacular on this ski...just riding the heck out of it. :brap:

yup I didn't even know it was on my camera until i went though the pics. Apparently while i saw sanding away singing to myself in my little cave some bat came along and took that pic.

Scott, If you were closer i would consider. My parents have this issue with my projects and blight...Good thing they are on vacation right now...so i get the whole...er what's left of the garage.

I am excited to grind those ribs out and throw one possible two more layers on the whole thing. Once that reinforcing is done....I can throw the motor back in...borrow some dive boots and hood sock and hit the waves. :bananapowerslide:

i guess i do need help. Not really but maybe some better jetski friends here in kzoo. Superjetdave got me some fiberglass mat and what he says is epoxy resin...cheap bondo poly crap:nutkick:. Already ripped that junk out and re sanded. Working backwards thusfar. :hitwithrock:

I called a few peeps in GR and danceswithsuperjet put me in the right direction. I actually realized my mistake the night after i laid some poly resin. dances said that i could get epoxy resin in GR too. no waiting to get this project done.

Thanks again Chad :armsdancesw/sj) for the hookup on where to go buy westsystems in stock. Even though you all say how expensive it is....i'll use it again. i just have to get this done before my parents get home from vacation and freak out about the jetski garage project. :wall:

looks like i'll be skiping work to get the epoxy, then taking advantage of the time to make dinner for a friend:cool2::love::sneaky:
