location of fire extinguisher on aftermarket hood

i Must run a fire extinguisher on the ski as the boat police around my area are really annoying and i just like to be safe so i dont get to waste 90 bucks in a day on nothing
i was wondering where would you put the extinguisher at

any ideas of a bracket or something?

Wrap it in turf and strap it to the top of the battery.

That's what many do if they absolutely must have an extinguisher.

I use a tube off a square nose mounted in the tray, I don't want that corrosive stuff anywhere near my engine.

Exactly. Get an old SN fire extinguisher holder and mount it in the tray. Your registration and whistle will fit in there as well so you can be 100% legal.

I have an extra square extinquisher holder just for this reason. But I don't want to use the stock mounting materials. I don't need the fire extinguisher in the ocean, but need it while at the lake. When the tube isn't on there, I don't want to bang my foot on stock hook thingy the rubber attatches to. I'm trying to come up with something that hold it on there, but not damage me when the tube isn't.

How about the same webbing that everyone uses for hood straps.
2 short straps that you could pull tight when in the ocean. Better than that stock rubber thing (I cut mine off but kept the hook for my limiting rope).

Somebody engineer a sano extinguisher holder already. One that's in your face- lift up your pole (that's what she said) and there it is: featured! If you can't hide it, flaunt it. Faaack, we have to carry 'em, somebody design a trick FE holder that is accessible, resilient, and bulletproof. Let it hold registration, and a tow rope, too, what?

it's called a purse... Coach makes some great ones.

I made a Hydroturf wrapper for mine and have it bungee'd down to a gas tank strap bracket between the tank/pipe/engine. Works great.
