What do you guys do for a switch? It looks like there are four choices. Switch on the handle bars, just the normal pull switch, water sensors and float switch. What works best for you?

I use a lanyard switch similar to what the ski has... I can leave it on, or hook it up to my PFD in case I fall off it will switch on....

I use a kill switch off of a 3wheeler (lol). I mounted it right in the center of the handle bars so it doesnt take any space closer to the grips. It getting crowded in there with the pull trim.

I've been using the JSS toggle switch for well over a year, in both fresh and salt water, without trouble.

Bilge switch

I went to a local 'Murrays Discount Auto' and picked up a basic black plastic on/off switch for aprox $3.00. I have a Kaw 750 SXI-Pro, mounted it on the rearward-angled side of the plastic, 3 screw part, located under the handle pole, just forward of the handle bar pilot bracket. Totally out of the way and easy to flip when riding with your left hand. :cool2:

Slutty's setup is pretty cool. I believe he has a scupper so while the ski is moving there is no need for a bilge to be turned on. He has a lanyard attached to his vest, so if he lets go of his ski the bilge turns on. perfect IMO

How long is a while? The connectors are definateley no good, but if the switch holds up in salt water for a year or so its probably worth a shot.
This will be my second full season in all fresh water. I ride ~60 hours a season. I don't use the connectors. Just cut them off, slide heat shrink on the wire, solder it together, and shrink it down. Everything is waterproof and vibration proof that way.

GASKETS FOR CHAMP BRAP!
The cheapest place I have found for the rotary switch is JSS (Jet Ski Solutions), everybody elso wants $40ish. The last one i bought from RIVA and it was $40, but it lasted me like 5 years.
I have one mounted under my handle pole.
