I just gave a guy some money to hold a pair of skis for me and i suddenly feel like i've screwed up so any opinions (well any that don't flat out call me a moron cause i already know that much) on whether i'm wasting my time and/or money. Almost forgot 800.00 for both no trailer.

Both skis have perfect compression, reasonably clean, good stainless impellers, scoop grates, aftermarket ride plates, and i can't tell on the carbs if they are stock or not but one has ocean pro air cleaner on it. The 300 has 180psi compression and the 550 has 165/160psi.

:dunno:

I don't think you royally screwed yourself, but those skis are fairly old and you'll probably be working on them some. Sounds like both engines are in excellent compression ranges. As long as they are fun and get you on the water, that is all that matters. But don't hop on a superjet, b/c you'll want immediately after.

Hey man use that 800 and your ski to get a SJ. OR you can put fotholds and turf on your ski and get the double trailer and the 550. Leave that 300 for a kid to play on. I am building one for my boy. He is 18...months that is... LOL

Hehe funny freak!:haha: Size doesn't matter much to me cause i'll be riding my 650 that WILL have footholds (it already has new turf well 1yr old did it look that bad? heh i don't think you were around long enough to see it anyway lol). I can add rails to my current trailer to carry the 550 also and stuff the 300 in the back of the blazer or stuff a 750cc motor under the handpole for an experience. I've decided that i'm ok cause I had an offer to sell one of them already and i haven't even got them home yet.

Thanks a bunch for the info all hope i didn't waste anybodies time.

P.S. about the whole scrapem get an sj crack...yeah yeah i know sj's are awesome freestyle machines but i've always experienced that if you can do shiot on a p.o.s. then you can do it on anything so i'm giving the kaw another beating this year and see what i can get out of her (i still love my kaw even though everybody else seems to hate them).
:cool2:

Wrong we'll get you on one this year. We'll have a selection this year from slightly modified to straight up balck flip material and everything in between. You can take your pick and then you will be selling the SX...
