MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Leads

Ok so I just purchased the MSD Super Conductors. I am able to remove the old spark plug leads and replace them with the new ones or do i need to buy the MSD coil as well. I guess I should have done a little more research before I bought them but I wanted to ask you guys before i start ripping everything apart.

OEM coil is much better than the MSD. Just don't have so much fun cleaning out your old coil

yes that you can, or taylor, or whatever wire you choose

The only problem with trying to fit the 8.5mm wires is that the hole is not big enough for them to slide into. You will have to build a hollow tool that will not interfere with the center prong down in the hole that pierces into the center of the wire.

If you can find a piece of tubing the right diameter, you can just file a few teeth into it and that will work good enough. I made my first one out of an old nut driver shank.
