Hey all --
I have a question about the white plastic bushings that are sandwiched between the steering plate and the bottom of the handlepole. I've noticed that over the years, the bushing is turning on the handlepole and thus wearing a circular hole in the handlepole. I would prefer that these bushings stayed stationary and the metal moved on top of them. This would transfer the wear onto the bushing instead of the handlepole.
Is there anything I can do to do this? Whats the best way to set these up so that they won't ruin the handlepole? I was thinking maybe a super thin coat of silicone between the bushings and the handlepole?
Thanks for any input anyone might have for me.
