one steers, one has throttle control

it must be hard to know how much throttle when you're looking at the back of another guy's head. That's probably why they ejected the way they did.

All offshore boats require a two man setup. Some have the. You have a wheel man and a throttle / tab guy and sometimes the third is the navigation man. My boat is a two man. It is nerve racking having someone controlling the throttle and tabs but if you have ever been in a boat like that it is alot of driving. Always on and off the throttles. I'm grateful my dad is a great throttle man lol
