Before you guys hammer me away, i am not buying a mag pump so dont bother with that. lol.

I have a very mildly ported 701 with a B pipe, tdr water box, 38s, 185lbs of compression.

Does anyone run close to the same setup running a pump cone and what prop do you have

thanks in advance

Still Fat....
i hate to say this... but try the searching feature...

to me honestly... this is all trial and error and what may work for one, may/may not work for you
I definitely suggest talking to Dave at Impros

When i ran a setup like that, it was with the 13/15 4mm cutback solas Impros modded prop with 89mm bored protect nozzle and wet wolf cone
guess you can say similar to what i run now

i've gone through many props/setbacks to see what i like
it works for me
I haven't gone to a mag setup (yet), just not sure if i want to
i've got my setup dialed to what i like, and alot of that was by trial and error
everyone's taste is different
Dave is awesome to work with, so if you need to make mods, he accommodates

just giving you my thoughts about this

skat 12/17 std. hub, WW cone and a 85mm nozzle......thats the setup in my rickter and it couldnt be any better

I'm still using the stock cone. It's one of the "few" bolt-ons that are not on my ski.
12/17....but impros estimated 6mm cutback. (from the factory) 85.5 bored nozzle. Will a cone help me as well?

Sorry for jacking Spray!

The Good Old Days
12/15 4mm setback solas with a stock cone and stock nozzle.
Not ideal but recovers quickly in our washing machine slop and I still have some top end.
Chews through oyster shells like a mother and always asks for more.

Spray I'm also trying to learn and I'm in the middle of my first build so I hope you don't mind me asking a question. I am going to be running a very similar set up to what your running with cylinder compression and engine set up but with a skat 9/15 cut-back prop and a blowsion stubby pump cone and a ATP steering nozzle. Would there be any benifit to buying or boring my reduction nozzle to 87mm or 88mm?
