88 650sx only rips if I get air / pump out of water for a sec

88 650 with stock cdk carb rebuilt , tried 20 and 32psi pop off

Ski will sometimes go , most the time won't get up to speed but will randomly, but if I hit a wake and get the pump out of water for a sec it will spin up and go until I let off .

Only other thing worth noting is compression is about 120 on each hole

I have a 800 x2 with the same issue! I'm running single 46 on it
