This was yest. morning. Had already been down the left side (right side from the POV of the camera), decided to hit it again and decided to hit the drop, about a 3-4 foot vertical drop at the lip with some undercut. Cannot tell by the angle. Hope to get a GoPro soon to get better footage.

The best thing about mountain biking, is there are places all over the US you can ride. I am sure there are TONS of places in Virginia to ride within a couple hours of where you are. It's a cheap enough sport where you can go all over the uS, camp, and ride all over...that's what I do every year. Got another epic trip planned for June 2010, heading back out west to ride on a shoestring budget.

There are some in Va, I just wish there were some close by so I could ride durring the week while I'm at school and I have no income so saving up for the bike is my first step.

LMAO...that's awesome. Yeah, that's those silly road bikers for you. Although a lot of MTB'ers wear that stupid spandex too, which I think looks ridiculous. Here's a couple vids though to show you what MTB'ing is all about:

no spandex and tight little zip-tops there...

I wear the regular biking shorts (Call them spandex or whatever). There is nothing worse than wearing baggies and having the pants leg getting caught on a limb sticking out on the trail. Or getting caught when you come off the saddle either to the front or rear if going down a steep decent and getting caught.......

Skin tight jersey, no thanks.

Snowshoe mountain in WV is Whistlers 'sister' resort. I've only been snowboarding there and Whistler. I want to try to hit it in the summer for some mountain biking.

I buy the Fox Sergeant shorts and the other cargo shorts that are MTB specific. They have elastic and a stretchy feel to them, so they don't flap around and get caught everywhere. Never had an issue with them when riding-and I have ridden in some hairy places. The best ones I have tried so far are the Hoss Ponderosas- I get them off PricePoint for under $50-they have the chamois built in too.
Anyway, back on topic- nice vid accbr!

I have been thinking about them also, riding buddy has them and likes them. Just use to reg. riding shorts.
