Search for Sluttys hood mod.
It involves removing the liner and making a new one.

You can save a bunch of weight and greatly reduce the amount of water that floods into your bilge.

Since your hood is already painted you could seal up those intakes from underneath once the liner is removed.

id remove the liner heat gun works best,put tape over holes on outside,fill them lay piece of glass over.when its dry take off tape and put stickers over :headbang:

Does removing the liner really take that much weight off? Blocking the whole doest hurt the air flow? Nice ski btw.

yes it takes off some weight,not alot but any pound counts.And im pretty sure you make new air vents locating them on the back of the hood.

yea mine has a bit off an orange tint after a couple rides but i clean it after i ride it so it stays pretty nice.
