I think these are all Buti's ski but I'm not sure. I recently made my lip angle down like this. I rode one like this, it changes the way the ski lands, in the surf at leat.

Lets bring this one back from the dead. My transom is completely blown out and I see no point putting it back the way yamaha made it to begin with. IMO the stock transom design is junk from a surf riding perspective. I know enough to make this area stronger and more usable but I am worried about how my changes may effect handling. For those of you who have ridden a ski with the rear lip removed, was the handling effected at all? In what way??

I have some crazy ideas for back there but am a little gun-shy about making any drastic changes below the bond line.

cut my 1st lip off about 10 years ago. didnt notice any changes. even raced it. (limited boat in a mod class) cut that sucker up!!!

why doesnt anyone shorten up blasters in the rear??? if you are doing the work hack some inches off too. ill pst pics when i chop the nose and rear of my friends blaster. rocker!!!

I plan on removing more than just the lip back there but I am pretty sure I want to leave the bottom surface of the hull alone. I get the rocker but why shorten it?
