I had an "accident" the other week. I do not want to go into details, but I was doing something very stupid....no, I wasn't in a fight, but stupid nevertheless.
Had small surgery yesterday to fixate the pieces of bone so they will heal properly. I have had my hand in a cast a week already and look forward to 4 more weeks:banghead: .

Sheit happens I guess....season has started and all. At least I got to run both the skis I've been working on this winter before this happened!:woot:

Boxer break. Who got ya mad and what did you punch ? I did the same thing many years ago.

Hope ya heal up quick. Its a long recovery regaining your range of motion though.

My cousin broke his right wrist snowboarding. He's a cadmonkey like me (and a lot of guys on here.) A year later, after a couple of surgeries, he's actually decided to stick with a left handed mouse setup. What a weirdo.

whats wrong with havin the mouse on the left side and typing with 2 fingers on the same hand?

I actually use my left hand for the mouse. Started with that some years ago when I had some elbow issues. Typing is slower, but works. I work in the office, so I am on sick leave for one day only.

i messed my left hand on the same side up a couple months ago. it was swollen, could not make a fist, and when i tried to type it would not do what i wanted it to do. the day after it happen i grabbed ahold of that bone and knuckle and squeezed really hard and it popped really loud. the swelling went down and i can finally make a fist, just not tight and the bottom knuckle of my pinky kind of sticks up higher than it use too. it still hurts if i try to hold stuff, i just can't use that pinky yet and it still hurts. probably should go and have it x-rayed, but i don't want to find out i need surgery. i will get it checked out in the late fall if it still hurts. don't want to lose riding time.

good luck and a fast recovery.

LOL!
Well, this is not what I tell people in general when asked about it. I mumble something about a mishap while hammering/carpenting.
Man, this is stupid....well, anger management, seems like a good thing to learn!
My better half told me to throw things from now on when I am mad. Good advice....
