So here it goes. Start with a '92 750sx, first year they made them, small pin, single carb, bought it last summer and rode it a lot. Here is the before shot:

What do I have so far is:

GOOD:
R&D Ride plate
R&D top loader grate
R&D racing f/a w/outerwears
SS impellor (good shape, no idea of pitch)

Bad:
Way too much purple
No footholds
Stock handle pole

Time to remove the huge purple chinpad and stickers

UMI 0 degree bars
UMI grips
bilge pump
new fuel and primer lines
HTurf the handlepole, rails, tray and whatever else stays still long enough
ditch the stickers

The handle pole looks UGLY after I got the stickers off.
Pretty much a bummer. Plan to reinforce this repair and hope it lasts!

i used a 3/4 inch hole saw that i bought for my bilge fitting to drill holes in the top of the gunnels for foaming. free paper funnels from a gas station make delivering foam easier.

this photo shows how little of the fire extinguisher tube is left after the gunnel is gutted for the footholds.

went to screw down the footholds. the first "tink" told me that was a bad idea!
grabbed the rivet gun and went to riveting
